🎮 Ya or Ta?

The Arabic verb follows its doer — one letter tells them apart

📖 About this game

A game about making an Arabic verb masculine or feminine according to its doer — the lesson's own activity, which turns يَصْحَبُ المُعَلِّمُ into تَصْحَبُ المُعَلِّمَةُ. The doer appears at the top of the card and the sentence is missing its verb, so the child chooses between two forms separated only by their prefix letter. The blank is the question drawn: answering fills it in, so the sentence completes in front of them. Five masculine doers and five feminine every round, one tap per question. No sign-up.

🕹️ How to play

  1. Look at who is doing the action, and hear their name in Arabic.
  2. Read the sentence with its verb missing.
  3. Choose the form that fits the doer: with ya or with ta.
  4. One tap per question, so the score measures what you really know.
