📖 About this game

A game about stencil prints, the first topic of the Printing unit. The rule comes from the book’s own text: a stencil is a flat surface colour cannot pass through, with holes of different shapes and sizes, so colour passes only through the hole. A plate with a single hole appears and the child picks the resulting print from three. The first distractor is the inverted print, the learner’s expected mistake word for word - thinking the plate prints its body rather than its hole - so it is not invented but the lesson understood backwards. The hole is never named in the question, because naming it removes the need to look, and looking is the whole skill. Six shapes with two rounds each. No sign-up.

1. Look at the plate and the shape of the hole in it.
2. Remember that colour passes only through the hole.
3. Tap the correct print from the three, and watch out for the inverted one.
4. Every plate you get first try counts for you.
