🎮 Kinds of Plural
Did the singular stay whole, or break?
📖 About this game
A game about classifying Arabic plurals by kind, the wording of the competency in the Unit 1 guide: sound masculine, sound feminine and broken. The plural appears alone, the child drops it in the basket of its kind, and its singular then appears underneath as the proof. The singular is hidden in the question because it is the whole evidence — كِتاب becoming كُتُب gives the broken plural away at a glance — so the child first judges by the mark visible in the plural itself. The explanation is the kind’s own rule together with the move from singular to plural, so it carries to any other word. The interface speaks English while the Arabic words are always spoken in Arabic. Four words per kind. No sign-up.
🕹️ How to play
- Look at the plural and listen to it.
- Look for the mark: a waw and a nun? an alif and a taa? or has the whole build changed?
- Tap the matching basket from the three.
- Every word you get first try counts for you.
