📖 About this game

A game about writing the medial hamza on an alif or on a waw, two separate competencies in the Unit 1 guide. The word appears with a bare hamza and no seat; the child compares the hamza’s own vowel with the vowel before it and chooses the seat that suits the stronger of the two, and the word is then revealed as it is really written. The seat is left out of the question because it is the answer, while both vowels are shown in full because they are the evidence rather than the answer. The explanation names both vowels and which is stronger, so it carries to any other word. The interface speaks English while the Arabic word is always spoken in Arabic. Six words per seat. No sign-up.

2. Look at the vowel on the letter before it.
3. Choose the seat that suits the stronger vowel: alif or waw.
