🎮 Value of the Digit
The same digit is worth something different in each place
📖 About this game
A game about place value, the wording of the term's first lesson: the value a digit takes according to its position in the number. A four-digit number appears with each digit in a named column and one digit coloured, and the child picks what it is worth from four options. Every option is that same digit's value in one of the other positions, so the only mistake possible is a mistake about position — exactly what the game sets out to measure. Each place is asked about equally often. No sign-up.
🕹️ How to play
- Look at the number: each digit sits in a column with its name below.
- Find the coloured digit and read its column name.
- Choose what it is worth from the four options.
- Every value you get first try counts for you.
