📖 About this game

A game about light, shade and fruit, the second topic in the drawing field at Level Four. The book says the distribution of light and shade helps bring out three dimensions on a flat surface and gives a sense of form in a spherical object. A shaded round fruit appears with five lamps around it, and the child taps the lamp that lights it. The picture is computed from the direction rather than drawn: the centre of the radial gradient is the position of the light, and the cast shadow is offset exactly opposite, so the picture can never contradict its own answer. Each direction twice, with a different fruit. No sign-up.

1. Look at the fruit: where is its brightest point?
2. Look at the shadow on the table: which way does it stretch?
3. Tap the lamp the light is coming from.
4. Every direction you get first try counts for you.
