🎮 The Focal Point
What makes one element rule the picture?
📖 About this game
A game about the principles of art composition, the first topic in the drawing field at Level Four. The book names the focal point and lists the ways it is achieved: colour contrast, sharpness, nearness, isolation and a difference in shape. Every picture is built from identical items with exactly one property changed in one of them, so the question has a single answer by construction. In a photograph two or three reasons pile up at once and the question would be void. Each way appears twice with two different scenes. No sign-up.
🕹️ How to play
- Look at the picture and ask which element caught your eye first.
- Then ask what makes it different from the rest.
- Tap the name of the reason from the five.
- Every reason you get first try counts for you.
