📖 About this game

A game about hamzat al-wasl and hamzat al-qat‘, one of the five phonetic skills in the Unit 1 guide and the one that matters most in writing. The word is shown with a bare alif because how the hamza is written is the answer itself, and the child applies the lesson's own test: put "wa" in front, and if the hamza is still heard it is qat‘, while if it drops away it is wasl. Answering reveals the word written correctly and fully vowelled. Six wasl words and six qat‘ every round. No sign-up.
