📖 About this game

A game about food chains, food webs and the energy pyramid, the ecosystems lesson of Unit 3. The three terms are the ones the book defines: a producer makes its own food, a consumer feeds on other living things, and a decomposer breaks down the remains of dead organisms and returns their materials to the environment — the book counts worms, bacteria and fungi among them. A living thing appears in a scene that is seen rather than defined, the child drops it in the basket of its role, and the food source then appears as the proof. The scene carries no definition because saying it makes its own food would print the answer inside the question. Four organisms per role. No sign-up.

1. Read the scene, or listen to it.
2. Ask: where does its food come from? Does it make its own, take it from a living thing, or from dead remains?
3. Tap the matching basket from the three.
4. Every organism you get first try counts for you.
