📖 About this game

A game about the parts of a computer, from the Learn the Basics unit, with its three groups taken from the lesson itself: external storage devices, then input devices, then output devices. Every device is described by its job and not by its name, because a name is memorised while a job is understood. A child who reads that a device scans a sheet so it becomes a document inside the computer, and then drops it into input, has understood the difference rather than recalled a word. The name sits small under the job, a clue after the thinking and never before it, and it says nothing about the group. The three groups are equal with four devices each, because balance is compulsory in every sorting game, otherwise the child learns the tilt of luck instead of the rule. After every answer the whole family of that group appears, so one device becomes a family of devices the child already knows around him. Twelve rounds. No sign-up.

1. Read what the device does, or listen to it.
2. Ask: does it carry something in, send something out, or keep it?
3. Tap the matching group out of the three.
4. Every device you get first try counts for you.
