📖 About this game

A game about modelling decimals on a hundred grid, the third lesson in the place-value chapter. A grid of a hundred squares stands for one whole, some of them are shaded, and the child chooses the decimal it shows. The grid is drawn with a hundred real cells rather than roughly, because the question measures the shaded part against the whole and the counting has to be possible with the eye rather than estimated. The distractors are the decimal point moved each way and the whole number with no point, because the expected mistake in this lesson is confusing 0.07 with 0.7 and with 7. No sign-up.

🕹️ How to play

1. Look at the grid: the whole of it is one, and it holds a hundred squares.
2. Count the shaded squares in fives.
3. Tap the decimal that equals that many out of a hundred.
4. Every grid you get first try counts for you.
