📖 About this game

A game about describing probability in words, the idea of the sixth lesson in the data-handling chapter. A bag of coloured marbles appears and the question asks how likely drawing one colour is; the child picks from the five words the book names: certain, more likely, equally likely, less likely and impossible. The marbles are drawn one by one at their true count because the judgement is a comparison of a count against half the total, and drawing them as a symbol or a ratio would destroy the counting that is the whole evidence. The words always appear in order from certain to impossible, because the order is a scale and is part of the lesson. No sign-up.

1. Count all the marbles in the bag.
2. Count the marbles of the colour asked about and compare with half.
3. Tap the matching word from the five.
4. Every bag you get first try counts for you.
