📖 About this game

A game about the basic classification of animals as the book states it: some have a backbone and are called vertebrates, others have none and are called invertebrates. An animal appears with its name and the child drops it in its basket. The animals are chosen so that each one measures a mistake that is expected: the dolphin swims and is taken for a fish yet it is a vertebrate, the butterfly flies and is taken for a bird yet it is an invertebrate, the octopus is large and clever so a skeleton is assumed yet its body is soft, the snake has no legs and is taken for a worm yet its backbone runs long under its skin. The explanation gives the evidence rather than repeating the verdict. Six per basket. No sign-up.
