📖 About this game

A game on the prepositions at, in and on in time expressions. The rule in the book: one preposition comes before a clock time, one before days and dates, and one before months, seasons, years and parts of the day. Why three baskets rather than a two-way question: the lesson has three prepositions, and a learner asked about only two of them has learned half the chapter while the third stays a trap. The expression is shown stripped of its preposition because the preposition is the answer, and it is assembled whole at the reveal so the learner sees the sentence as it is written. With the reveal come the other expressions that take the same preposition, so the rule is learned by parallel rather than by memorising. The balance is not optional: an equal count from each preposition, or the learner would learn that one of them is the likeliest and stop applying the rule. Nine expressions. No sign-up.
