A game on the lesson of population structure in the population unit, whose text says that a population is divided by age into three groups, the young, the middle aged and the elderly, and that the middle group is the productive one on which the economy of the state rests. Why the age is shown as a number on an age line rather than as the name of a group: a group is a position inside a range and not a name to be memorised, and a learner who reads the number and places it in its range has understood the division rather than learned three names. The ages shown are not random but include the boundaries of the groups themselves and the years next to them, because the boundary is where the expected mistake of this lesson lives, and a learner who errs there lands in the neighbouring group so his mistake shows. The balance is not optional: an equal count from every group, or the learner would learn that the middle group is the likeliest and stop reading. The age line with its three boundaries is a clue that gives the answer away, so it is hidden in the question and shown after the tap as proof, letting the learner see where the age falls inside the range.
