🎮 Normal or Not?
Read the gauge, then judge the reading
📖 About this game
A game about the vital signs of the body, from the lesson on temperature and pulse in the My Health and Safety unit. The numbers come from the book itself: normal body temperature is 37 degrees and anything above it is a rise, and the resting pulse of a ten-year-old is between 72 and 90 beats a minute. The reading appears on a drawn gauge rather than as a bare number, because judging a vital sign is a position inside a range, not a number to memorise. The marker and both ends of the range are computed from the same value, so the drawing can never contradict the answer. The green normal range is hidden inside the question because it is the answer, and it appears after the tap as proof the child sees with his own eyes. Six temperature readings and six pulse readings, half normal and half not. No sign-up.
🕹️ How to play
- Look at which vital sign it is and at its number on the gauge.
- Remember the rule: 37 degrees is normal, and a resting pulse runs from 72 to 90.
- Tap Normal or Not normal.
- Every reading you get first try counts for you.
