🎮 What Time Is It?
The short hand tells the hour, the long hand tells the minutes
📖 About this game
A game about reading the hands of a clock — the topic of the My Time unit and the book's own activity, to a precision of five minutes. The clock's hands are computed from the time rather than drawn as pictures, so the drawing can never contradict the question. The hour hand also creeps with the fraction of the hour, sitting between 9 and 10 at half past nine; without that the clock would be guessed rather than read. The first distractor swaps the hands, which is the most common mistake of all. No sign-up.
🕹️ How to play
- Look at the short hand: which numeral is it on? That is the hour.
- Look at the long hand and multiply its numeral by five.
- Choose the right time from the four options.
- Every time you get first try counts for you.
