🎮 Elements of Design
Dot, line, shape, form, texture and colour — which one is this?
📖 About this game
A game about the six elements of design, the first topic in the drawing field. One swatch appears with a single element standing out in it, and the child taps its name from the six. Every swatch is drawn in CSS rather than photographed, because an element is an abstract visual property and any photograph carries all the other elements along with it, leaving the question without a single answer. The explanation gives the element's own definition, so it carries to any other artwork. Each element twice per round. No sign-up.
🕹️ How to play
- Look at the swatch in the middle of the screen.
- Ask yourself what makes it what it is: dots, lines, colour?
- Tap the name of the element you can see.
- Every element you get first try counts for you.
